You can make a lot of gold with Truesilver, but if you want to step it up and make thousands of gold you should read my personal favorite guide. If you just want Truesilver and not Mithril, you could skip all of the Mithrin Veins but don’t make a second pass right away because you’ll probably only see Mithril. Truesilver Veins show up where Mithril Veins are, so while you’re farming Truesilver make sure you empty out all of the Mithril you see in hopes it will come back as Truesilver. You will want to be level 45-52 to farm and have at least level 165 mining to gather it from the veins. Typically the ore sells for 2-8 gold each while the bars sell for slightly more.
Don’t farm more than a few stacks though, they would take a very long to sell on the auction house. If no one else is posting a stack of 1, post larger stacks so that players who want to make a Truesilver Rod (which requires only 1 Truesilver Bar) have to buy more and then you make more gold. If someone else is posting a stack of 1, you should undercut.
You will want to post them in a variety of stack sizes. It’s usually not posted in high volume on the auction house and every now and then someone comes by and wants to make a Truesilver Rod, use Truesilver to leveling mining or help level Blacksmithing. Where to Farm: Felwood or Burning Steppesįarming Truesilver Ore is a great way to make some extra gold.
